This committee has been assigned the following roles: Preparing the basic sciences syllabus by the Modern Curriculum Guidelines Preparing the Syllabus for the Pathophysiology Participating in the preparation of lesson plans and course plans for stages of the seven-year medicine program Workshops on preparation of lesson plans and course plans Drafting the educational goals Collecting a pool of all lesson plans and course plans in the school of medicine Investigating, providing feedback and revising lesson plans and course plans in the school of medicine Supervision over courses and educational goals as well as evaluation Supervision over preparation of the courses in departments Coordinating new course suggestions Cooperation in planning a new strategic plan for the university Cooperation with other universities in curriculum planning Regular meetings
